Project Summary
AI is evolving rapidly, outpacing our ability to keep up with its maintenance and demands. This can lead to system glitches, which are far more complex to identify and resolve than physical issues like a broken pipe or a rusted screw. While technology is our latest tool, not like a hammer, it carries inherent biases, particularly due to the data used in training AI models. These biases, often subtle, can deepen divisions as people increasingly see AI as a neutral entity. The intangible nature of these virtual problems makes them difficult for the uninitiated to understand. My goal is to make these virtual glitches tangible, allowing for examination, feeling, and holding these objects like museum artifacts. These can be preserved years down the line, allowing evolution of forms to take place if the AI models who create these forms evolve as well.
